World Café on Post-Carbon Fredericton
Apr 09 2013You are invited to a World Café discussion on Post-Carbon Transition in Fredericton, hosted by Transition Fredericton on April 16. With climate change and depleting conventional carbon sources, our days of high carbon living are seriously numbered. There are, obviously, already a number of projects in Fredericton that fit under the rubric of transition. What are the next steps? Some of the next steps, perhaps, can't be done by volunteer groups alone. How do we get the City and Province on board? What knowledge is missing? What projects are needed over the next few months to move us towards filling those gaps and engaging a broader number of stakeholders? The World Café will help us move the group forward, and it will be an opportunity to share information and ideas with people from different networks. The broader the participation, the more interesting the conversation!

Join us for a Community Conversation on Food Security
Apr 02 2013The subject of Food Security was a key area of concern raised by participants at the Great Gathering in November 2012 hosted by Greater Fredericton Social Innovation. Many individuals and groups are working on various initiatives related to food. We would like to harness the power of our collective passion and ensure we use our resources effectively. Everyone is welcome to be part of this conversation where we intend to identify areas of interest and teams of people that can collaborate in creating a greener, sustainable, healthier food system for everyone in our community.
